As a Xeesm Account Manager you basically identify, close and support Xeesm customers. You engage with customers using LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and other methods to build and strengthen relationships. You quickly get to know customers and prospects and understand what’s on top of their mind; know how you can help and introduce our social business applications when you sense it is the right time to do so. You learn and adopt the new social selling model – where you don’t sell but help customers buy what is best for them.

If you have been in sales before, you will need to know, that at Xeesm you will never do cold calls and don’t do email spam campaigns. You won’t grind through address list and qualify them as leads. You also won’t need to provide any forecasts or weekly reporting. Social Media Monitoring is enough reporting already and the forecast is computed by our own system: Xeesm/Edge!.

The core metrics for you to measure success at Xeesm is Advocacy. The better we perform the more are our customers likely to advocate your solution and suggest it to others. To us, a sustainable revenue streams and growth in market share are the result of customer advocacy – not a result of selling.

What you should have to be successful:
1) Your networking and communication skills need to be top notch and you need to be highly visible in the social web.
2) You need to be a natural connector, always have a smile and only take a job that you wholeheartedly love
3) You need to be able to understand a customer situation quickly enough to decide if Xeesm would be a helpful solution to their current situation or not. If not, keep the relationship, but don’t wast your time to still try selling.

If this is your first job, we are happy to train you and teach you everything you need.

Working with partners:
You may work with one of our partners to close a business. We do not compete with our business partner so you will not loose your commission if you involve partners into an opportunity.

What you can expect:
We hope this may become your dream job. You are autonomous and deliver results – not work hours. You will be one of the first team mates and help shape the company. Other than a base salary you will be on a commission. You may work from home wherever that is within the US or in our Palo Alto office in California.
